10 Facts About Me
Hi All! Thanks for stopping by, here’s a quick 10 random facts about me!
- I am a HUGE family person. I believe there is nothing more important in this world than family. Time is precious, and time with family is even more precious. I was born and raised in Ashland, and my parents and younger brother still live there. Luckily they are just 45 minutes from me! Here’s my people:

- I have a super bubbly personality, I can talk to just about anyone, anywhere, about anything. I think people are just so interesting, and everyone has such a different life story, you can learn so much with just having a couple minute conversation with a stranger (sorry mom, I sometimes talk to strangers now).
- My favorite place in the world is by the ocean, and my second favorite place is anywhere out west, preferably on a mountain. I’ve had the opportunity to travel many places so far in my life, and I hope to continue to travel and see the world. I’m going to do a separate post for my family vacation from June, 2018 (It was hands down the coolest vacation we have been on!) Here are some photos from my 2 favorite trips so far:
Family Vacation, Horseshoe Bend, AZ. June 2018
College Graduation Celebration, Cancun, May 2017
Family Vacation, North Rim, Grand Canyon, AZ, June 2018
- I HATE pickles, strongly. That “crunch” a pickle makes when you take a bite, is cringe worthy to me. (Makes me slightly nauseated thinking about it….)
- I originally started college at Kent State University in their Fashion Merchandising program. I quickly realized that I had a passion for fashion, and a passion for marketing, but wasn’t so much about them together. I transferred to The University of Akron my 2nd semester freshman year to start over in their Marketing Program, which I graduated from in 2017 with my BBA in Marketing Management & Sales. After I graduated and had a more set schedule of my day to day life, that’s when I really decided that I wanted to give this blog thing a try. My heart has always steered me in the right direction, and this time I feel is no different.

- I am a sucker for a good deal. I have a really hard time spending a lot of money on 1 thing & i’m a big believer that all splurge items, also have a similar less expensive item… and i’m all about that save item!
- I hate coffee. I try it 1 time about every 6 months or so to see if my taste buds have changed… 24 years strong and still not my thing. I still have yet to figure out how I function at my job without it.
- Not only do I not drink coffee, but I rarely drink pop. I used to drink Mountain Dew religiously (yuck, I know), about 1-2 cans a day sometimes. I have not had any Mountain Dew since January 2018 and I have to say I genuinely feel less gunked up (DUH). Since i’ve never been a fan of dark pop, Mountain Dew and Sprite were really the only types of pop I would drink, and now every once and a while if I’m feeling like I need a sugar rush i’ll have a can of Sprite… but I try to keep that to a minimum as well!
- My favorite food is definitely pancakes, with a cold glass of milk. Because you really can’t drink anything other than milk with breakfast foods in my opinion! Since Riley and I both work full time during the week and get up for work at different times, we take breakfast on the weekends VERY seriously, they almost always include pancakes, as well as the occasional breakfast for dinner throughout the week.
- Last, but certainly not least. I met my boyfriend almost 6 years ago (Whew, time flies by when you’re having fun!). We met in college, and since then have grown by 3 little crazy fur babes. We got our dog, Roo, in April of 2014, we then brought home our kitty, Ellie, in September of 2016 and our youngest (and craziest) kitty, Dexter in September of 2017. Although sometimes it feels like a zoo in this house, we wouldn’t have it any other way!
